Vegan Raw Chocolate Truffle  Balls 
Ingredients: 
  • 2 cups Pitted Dates
  • 1 cup Shredded coconut
  • 1 cup Pecans, roughly chopped     (or other nuts)
  • 1/4 cup Organic cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp Organic coconut oil, melted
  • Pinch of cinnamon and ground clove
  • Additional cocoa powder or finely chopped nuts for coating

Method: 

  1. Hold in your pitted dates first before work, if they’re overly dry, soak in a bowl of little bit warm water to have it take up the moisture.
  2. Put all the ingredients (except the additional cocoa powder or finely chopped nuts) in a food processor, process until well combined.
  3. Take it out and shape the chocolate dough into balls with your hands or use a piece of cling film to assist you, then coat with cocoa powder or chopped nuts.
  4. Put in the fridge or freezer for at least an hour to set it probably. Then they’ll be ready to serve!

Note: 

  • You can use different nuts for your own like to substitute the pecans.
  • Also, you can put the chocolate balls in a nice gift box or bag for a perfect food gift.
