Happy ST. Patrick’s Day 2015 ~ Steamed Coconut Tapioca cake
Today is the St. Patrick’s day, nearly forgets about it.
Still, have a half day to make something fun for it.
Here is the one that I made this afternoon, only take me two hours to spend in the kitchen.
It is one of the popular cake in South-east Asia, no-bake but steam. Add the coconut milk to make more flavour to the cake.
I use the pumpkin puree to make the orange colour. The middle layer white colour is the plain coconut milk with tapioca starch.
And the third layer is the green, I just add two drops of pandan extract with the coconut milk and the tapioca starch.
That’s all the ingredients and make the Irish flag, do you like it? Anyway, it tastes so good and soft.
