Vegan Summer Fruits Jelly
The weather here has been fully miserable, only dull and wet. I know it is good for flowers in the garden, also my vegetables as well. But not for the mood neither!

Vegan Sweet Potato Smoothie + Pea Shoot & Strawberry Salad
I think I make smoothie quite often, particularly is my green smoothie. Since I can get lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. Smoothie is my first priority to think of. A salad is my second choice.
Sometimes, I will have smoothie only to sub for my regular meal. Or, only salad for my dinner. Of course not every day.
Mango Pudding with Jelly ~ Vegan & Dairy-free
Today’s weather was so good, 24°C to 26°C~ warm and sunny! I think it is the summer that we longed for. Yay, it comes at last!
But the news said the weather in America will reach to 113°F/ 45°C, such too hot, I wish everyone stay in the shade and try not to expose under the sun for too long, in case it will get sunstroke!
So, for this reason, we need some iced cold drink or dessert to treat ourselves. And now MANGO is the most seasonal fruits on the market, and the price is cheaper overall the year.
Konjac jelly powder (蒟蒻果凍粉) is good for making jelly, but Konjac powder 魔芋粉 or 蒟蒻粉 ( also known as Konjac Glucomannan powder ) is the type of starch thickener, like the cornstarch, it is natural, odorless soluble fiber that is found in the konjac plant. The konjac Glucomannan is the most viscous food gum in nature. It has about ten times the viscosity than cornstarch. But it is not like cornstarch, which does not contain starch and sugar, it does not have calories.
Summer time was gone, and the fall season was landed quietly. You can see lots of falling leaves was already turn into yellow, brown or red, all lying outside the road, in the park, up to the hill or in our garden, it is a very calm, peaceful and quite romantic feeling! Actually I quite like autumn scenery, it is a very beautiful picture!
This summer haven’t got many hot days, only 2 or 3 days that all I can remember it. My garden’s vegetable plants are lack of good sunshine, all the tomato plants are still green, they hanging over there, but can’t get any hot weather to ripen them, it look a bit sad! So I decided to pick them back to my kitchen to avoid the damage of the first frost come.
Now, I turn this green tomato into my Spiced Tomato Chutney.
